Congratulations on the holiday, and wishes of unforgettable summer vacation, joy and bright impressions!
Every year on the first day of summer, International Children’s Day is celebrated. The Women’s International Democratic Federation approved the decision to establish this holiday at its special session in November 1949.
The main purpose of the holiday is to remind adults of the need to respect children’s rights to life, education, freedom of thought, rest, protection against violence and exploitation, because children are the future of the country, guarantee of its welfare and prosperity.
Nowadays, International Children’s Day is celebrated in more than 30 countries, each of them has its own traditions of celebration. On this day, Ukrainian cities organize fun contests and festivals, theater performances, stirring quests and games.
Karazin University also offers children to spend their summer vacation visiting the Educational Center “LandauCenter” whose interactive grounds will enable them to conduct scientific experiments themselves and to learn a lot about the world around by attending classes conducted by the Minor Karazin University.
Within the excursion project “Discover Karazin University for Yourself”, we also invite students to get acquainted with the University, its history and structure, to visit the library and museums, to learn many interesting things about the scientific, cultural and artistic life of Karazin University.
Congratulations on the holiday, and wishes of smiles, joy, unforgettable emotions and a cheerful beginning of the summer vacation!
