The Educational Center “Crimea – Donbas – Ukraine” of the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University (hereinafter referred to as the Center) was established to carry out activities to ensure the passing of annual assessment and state final certification, as well as admission for higher education of persons whose place of residence is the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The Center was established on the basis of the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University together with the Municipal Institution “Kharkiv Scientific Boarding Lyceum “Obdarovanist”” of the Kharkiv Regional Council.

Admission to the V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Karazin through the Center is regulated by the “Procedure for Admission to Higher, Pre-Higher and Professional (Vocational and Technical) Education of Persons Living in Territories Where It Is Impossible to Ensure the Implementation of Ukrainian Education Standards and/or a Stable Educational Process”, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 271 of March 1, 2021 (hereinafter referred to as Order No. 271) and the Regulations on the Educational Center “Crimea – Donbas – Ukraine” of the V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
