On September 1, Ukraine traditionally celebrates Knowledge Day and the beginning of a new academic year.

The new academic year is a special event in the life of everyone engaged in educational activities. This is the day of schoolchildren, students, teachers and lecturers. The day of those who teach and learn, those who have already chosen their life’s occupation and who are on the way to it.

That is why this day is so important. It embodies the value of knowledge and the importance of education in the modern world. And it is not about academic titles, grades and exam results, although all this matters a lot, too. The educational process is, first of all, about human relations and search for one’s place in life. At school, college or university, we meet people who inspire us for changes, new hobbies, travel, they give us a variety of bright impressions. Thanks to school and student years, we grow not only as professionals, but also as individuals.

This is the 216^th academic year at Karazin University. And this time, due to quarantine restrictions, the beginning of the new academic year is not accompanied by usual events and celebrations. But this is no reason to be upset, because we live in a changing, dynamic world. Congratulations to Karazin University family on the beginning of the new academic year!
